Default Hello from Mass

Hi everyone,

just joined recently after hearing quite a few good recommendations. Looking to do an LSx swap into my 87 Trans Am and I was told this was the place to learn.

I've owned 3rd gens in the past and currently have an 08 G8 (base, no v8) as a DD.

Hope to help out where I can

Dan

I live in Lowell and work in Pepperell. Found someone on the board here from nearby that may have a motor/trans for sale. May be frequenting more often very soon.....

alright, guess I'm part of the club now. I've become the happy new owner of a LS1/4L60E combo as of this weekend. Now begins the fun part of tracking down all the little parts to make this swap happen.

Looking to keep things relatively stock; may go to 241 heads (engine's a 98) and will definitely have the block machined/cleaned up. trying to stick to used but good shape parts to rebuild the motor with.

more to come over the next few months
