Hey guys i finally got back into the f-body game. I've had a '89 firebird 2.8(first car), '86 Camaro z28, '94 supercharged formula a4, and now my newly acquired '98 Camaro z28 m6. I bought it for $3200. It needs a trans cause secong gear is non-existant but its very clean and im definitely happy with it. IMO its worth what i paid for it. I also have a '89 240sx drift car which is more of a beast than my Camaro...hopefully not for long. Happy to be back with f-bodies. http://s550.photobucket.com/albums/i...l558/F-bodies/

$3200 for that car is a steal!! You got an awesome deal on that, regardless of the transmission.
If you're interested in rebuilding the trans yourself, you should be able to easily do it for no more than $500. Probably just needs a basic rebuild and a 2-3 synchro hub at the most.
