new guy from florida! hey everyone i just bought a 98 z28 6 speed a couple months ago with 62,000 miles on it and it has quickly turned into my baby haha, its all stock besides a corsa cat back system and ive been reading all the newbie posts about what too do to the stock camaros but i think i just might need a little more information..
for example if i had $1000 bucks to spend on this car what would be a wise way to spend the money getting the most bang for my buck hp wise?
i really want an electric cut out so i can just open the exaust up at a stop light and pretty much make fun of the tuner next to me haha but with stock exaust manifolds would it sound like a tuner itself or would it sound ok? i really want headers but labor to put them on seems to be crazy..
i think im just looking in a current direction in what way i should go and what i shoud buy. brands, parts, answers like that

As for your question's, you may want to search the GenIII External Engine Section to find the answers.
One thing about this site, there is never a shortage of opinion on what you should do to upgrade your car. There are plenty of members happy to tell you what worked and didn't work for them.

P.S. If you don't like the automotive labor rates in your area, you should install the headers you're looking to have. There are more than enough threads to search on that topic. Read 'em and you'll feel like a pro before you spin your first wrench.
