New T/A owner from NC! Hello to all LS1Tech-ers! I heard about the site from Kelly at PCMforless, she said this would be a great resource.
I have been 4x4ing it for a while and decided to do a car. So I bought a 2000 T-Top Trans Am. Stock all except the trans was rebuilt and has a super stiff 1-2 shift. she has leather, power everything and is in decent shape considering the 138k miles. she is a blast to drive ( a big change from my 4x4). Future plans are:
intake, not sure if I should just do a lid and a K&N or wait till I buy the hood I want (raptor)
cat back- recommendations? loud but not silly sounding on a stock LS1?
3200 stall converter
9 inch rear: have to decide the gear. any advice on a street/strip 1/4mile gear?
and a custom tune.
that will do me until I get near completion of the new motor. then I will strap some nitrous on the old one with no worries..
not sure on what to build but I will cross that bridge when I get there.
anyhow here are a couple cell phone pics..
it is red but the phone makes it look orange..
