Newbie from Alabama
Hello all,
What to say, what to say....
It would seem that all things LS1 point everyone to this site/forum.
After finely retiring form the military after 20+ years of service and not having to deal with deployments (of which I did plenty of over the last 11 years of my service) I can now start working on a long awaited dream project of mine..
In the process is a 1970 Monte Carlo.. I picked up the 70 MC off eBay with only 56K original miles and the history book of the car to boot.
To date my son, daughter, and wife (quite the family affair) we have changed out all the springs to Hotchkis 1" lower springs and matching Bilstein shocks..
There are plans to replace the front upper and lower A-Arms and add ATS AFX spindles which are already set up for the 13" Corvette brakes..
I currently have Boss wheels 18" front and 20" rear.. They came with the car..
For the power train I plan to use a LQ4/LQ9 and 6L80E..
Thx,
Kevin
