Default New to Displacement! Goodbye import!

Well, I have plans to build an ls1/t56 fox body here within the next six months. I am coming from the dreaded DSM world and had PLENTY of success going fast but no success with it holding together!! My plans for the fox body are to be as streetable as possible while still ripping a few 10 second passes without exploding! There is no doubt in my mind the talon will run a 10 second pass if it could make it down the track without breaking. It doesnt like launching with 235/60/15 bfg drag radials and 7250 rpm launch limiter.

Currently have a 2.0 4g63 with shep stage 4 transmission, eagle/ross bottom end with evo valvetrain and 272 cams, twin bosh 044, fic 1050s, hx40 turbo, ams t3 manifold, tial bov/wastegate, DSMLink.....

Enough with that car....it likes to break...ALOT. I would appreciate any help with the LS1 swap into a fox body I can get. Ford Chevy Mitsubishi.... its all the same to me - not a brand guy here. I just like the feeling of building something on you own and running it down the track as fast as possible!

Thanks and appreciate any help I can get from you guys!

You should have no problem hitting 10's w/ an LS1 in a car as light as a foxbody! Good luck w/ the build.

Or just run NA w/ heads/cam as that'd be the best bet for reliability and still running 10s.

I would like to keep it NA as the monster turbo on my talon surely had something to do with the reliability, and probably not nitrous either as its almost 2 hours to fill bottles.

As for the hassle of swapping an ls1 into a fox body I honestly dont think it will be that hard with aje k member. I mean it cant be harder then making a front wheel drive talon to all wheel drive.... then 2 months after that deciding it needs to be rear wheel drive
