LS1 newbie Hello all. I'm a newbie to the LS world. Im getting ready to stuff a warmed over LS1 in my 79 Trans Am. I'm getting tired of all of the problems I've had in the last few years with the factory olds 403 so I've decided to try some modern power instead. My small arsenal of cars include a 97 Trans Am that's stock except for a Lingenfelter cai and SLP loud mouth II cat back, the previously mentioned 79 Trans Am, a 79 Trans Am Y84 400 4 speed in need of a restoration and my wifes 68 Firebird that will get put together someday.
