Greetings from the UK Hi all, I found this site when sniffing through the net trying to find info on LS1 & LS7 engines.
Good site for info so far.
What i want.....
Appx 6ltr V8 engine (what engine code will give that?)
Tuned to MINIMUM 450BHP (we have 99 octane fuel available at all petrol stations here)
Some pointers on where to get a good cam shaft
Any pointers on 'roller rockers'.
Where to get some 'turbo headers' to turbo it after the engine has been built up & doing 450bhp
CAn I use carbs & not injection?
Im planning a mad install of a 6+ litre engine into a Volvo 850 (using a Volvo 850 AWD as it has a prop shaft already to the rear wheels & all other 850's are front wheel drive.
Basic plan....... Big capacity small block V8 tuned to 450bhp, later adding 2 turbo's. Jaguar rear axle (it has independent rear suspension). Auto tranny from whatever the engine came from. Custom driveshafts.
Plan sounds mad but myself & 2 good friends have plenty enough skills & fun factor to do it.
Goal........600+ bhp rear wheel drive Volvo 850 estate (code name Volvo 885 T8).
Any ideas, links to sellers of the cams headers etc would be very much appreciated.
