Hello Been on the site many times for some misc info. I finally set up an account for some more in depth info. My name is Nick and I am in Frederick MD. I have a 88 iroc t-top car. Currently the car is a roller due to funds but a free 5.3l has been acquired and the turbo project is soon to begin.
The car was purchased with a 9" in the car with a home built torque arm and not much else. I put a 406 in the car with a 350 and tickled it with nitrous for a couple years, added an 8pt cage and rewired the car. Best time of 11.21 was achieved. That block took much abuse over time and ended up with a crack in the main webbing.
Now the car has a spohn torque arm with a 400 crossmember. Batteries in the trunk, complete rewire and some new Bogarts with MT drag radials and MT sportsmans up front. I have worked on many street and race vehicles before i stopped being a tech (worked at a race/speed shop in MD) but didnt get much experience with the LS1 based motors while there. Hope to find some good info on here and maybe make some aquantences.
