Hi from Pittsburgh
Greetings all!
Joined here from t.o.s. mostly for an issue I have with a sponsor here, but before I get into things publicly, hoping I don't have to, I thought I'd say Hi!
Bought my first v8 back in July for two reasons. The HP appetite keeps growing, (I started on a 4cyl, then 4-turbo, then 6-turbo, and now 8.) And I've always really wanted to learn to do my own mechanic work. Now that I have an engine and car that is worthy of throwing money at for more HP, time to learn!
From a bone stock z28 (skip-shift mod was the only thing in there)
I'm gathering all the parts for an induction mod to ls6 (intake and valley cover,) delete EGR & AIR, new plugs/wires, & CAI
Exhaust in the spring, then suspension and rear end.
Then it's on to building a modern SS clone Chevelle. I love the looks of those.
From there, the Camaro gets really converted into a track car, heads, cams, hell, I could really go crazy and drop in a 502! All in the future though!
