ls1 to ls6 heads and intake
ls1 to ls6 heads and intake sorry i dont know if im riting on the right part its just that i have bin around for a lil now just never posted nothing so sorry if im bothering some one but i have a ls1 and i would like to do somthing to the heads and intake. but times are kinda hard so some one told me to go with ls6 heads and intake how well will this work and will i have to do mods to it to make it work 
i am no expert but from what i have been told those LS6 parts will be combatable with your LS1 engine but a couple things to consider are your heads wont make as much power as they can with your stock cam(you would have to find a good AM cam) and i beleive that the intake will work better if you have other bolt ons, such as headers

go to TSP for a good price on a cam pkg.you can get a used ls6 intake for $300.you can find a used set of ls6 heads for $400 or less on this forum or on a ls vette forum.do a valve seat leak test on the heads,and consider a valve job also.ask more questions if you need to ,alot of great people here on this forum will help you out.
