Just purchased a 2002 Camaro SS 6 speed with 31K on it. It's been totalled via a Dodge truck into the drivers side rear.
Here's where I might catch some hazing...
I'm removing the drivetrain and putting it in a 1978 Datsun Z car
Should be able to get the weight down below 2700 lbs wet with no driver.
Will have CAI and long tube headers with 2.5" duals (h pipe or x pipe)
Running a 3.7 LSD diff (Datsun IRS) and 25-26" tall tires.
I have lots of questions regarding the Gen III/IV and it looks like the members on this site will have lots of answers.
I'm new to the LS1 world but not wrenching in general. Hopefully I'll not ask alot of pure newbie questions. If I do your welcome to put me in my place.
I have been lurking for a while and figured it was time to join.
