New build in MD
New build in MD Hello all, Long time thread stalker, first time poster on these forums. A little bit about myself, I'm a mechanical engineer with further training as a reliability engineer with a penchance for tinkering. In college I picked up tig welding along with a fair amount of machining experience, and designed and built the frame for our formula SAE team.
Currently I have a 94 miata that I am getting the parts together to swap an LS1 engine and T56 transmission into. I do have the engine and trans out of a 98 camaro, although I am missing a few parts yet. And I have a lot of ambition, although it remains to be seen how much I will fabricate versus buying.
A thread will follow with my build as it progresses. And probably a whole slew of questions.
