Newb from SC What's up guys, completely new to the LS scene but after some good research, it's what I want to go with in my Chevelle. Hope to find some good help and knowledge from everyone here. Always been a muscle car guy but think this one will be my first resto-mod. Thought I was going with a big block, but a buddy with an LS S-10 talked me into the LS swap.

gen III/IV is definitely the way to go. but if it's cubes you want, why not build an iron block 408? i just got done building my 346 from bare block on up, if you need any help, let me know. as a matter of fact, i will PM you the book i used to do it. it's absolutely outstanding.
