Another New Guy Here Hey All
New to the site and wanted to say Hello. I live and work in Maryland. I have a 98 Firebird. I love this car! It has everthing I ever wanted in an American Muscle Car. I also have a 1970 Mustang I have restored myself, as I have had the car since I was a Junior in Highschool. Telling on myself, about 1973??!! I spent 21 plus years in the Military and always had a hiding place for it.
Anyway, the Firebird has a problem and wondered if anyone has had a simular issue? The High Beams to Low Beams don't funcion. They are stuck in Low Beam Status. The Instrument Panel shows High Beam and the Driveing lights go out as needed when in high beam, but the lamps don't change.
I am looking for some performance upgrades, and am old school, Non Chip Related horsepower guy. The idea of a computer controlling things beckons me back to the Karn Evil 9 album by Emerson Lake and Palmer vintage? I still play all at top volume in the Bird, and find the stock Steoro sufficiant for an ole Rock Head like me.
First attempt at this thing and look forward to conversing with ya all. I hope to maybe add some pics. Any way Keep The Tires Spinnin and Betwinks The Ditch's.
