Default New to LS1

New guy on this forum. Just traded a bike for an LS1 Camaro, 98. Been on here getting good information this last week. Will be on here a lot more while I keep finding things that need addressed. It's a stock motor LS1 automatic with a 150 shot. It has 155 fuel pump, throttle body, mass air, 373 gear, and a couple other things. Took it to the track Fri and pulled a best time of 11.68 @118. I was impressed with the time but not impressed with all the rattles and things I am finding wrong with the car. Oh well, looks like I found another money pit.

Welcome to ls1tech. Were you expecting a perfect car? Sorry but unless you leave it stock, it will become a money pit.

I knew what I was getting into. I am a speed junkie for sure. I drag race bikes usually, just wanted a little variety now. I still have my dragbike and now I can play on the track with this too. I consider it a platform for things to come. Just like anything there are pros and cons. For now the pros outweigh the cons.
