For real though, I am a proud LS1 owner now. Picked up a 00 Z28 A4 with T-tops and leather. Found her with a blown engine(hydrolocked) under a thick coat of dust in someones backyard shed. Car had only 59k on her and nabbed it for 1800 cash!
Has a Flowmaster cat-back too.
Picked up an engine last week from Indiana from a guy thats supposed to be on here. Engine is out of an 04 GTO. Car is almost done, and I'm ready for some freaking summer already.
Anyways, just thought I'd introduce myself and see if there are any other Wisconsinn people on here?

So just an update on the car. Well the engine I picked up turned out to have a broken ringland on #5. After months of dreading it, I finally pulled the ls1 and found half a compression ring and some piston in the oil pan.
Wasnt too happy, but oh well. So instead of wasting more money on the busted mill, I decided to get a 400 dollar LM7 from a local salvage yard with a warranty and get this car usable. Got her all bundled up an ended up driving it all this week to work. Shes got some punch too!
