Lt1 newb Hi, my name is Zac but I go by Larry which has been a longtime nick name. I'm in the process of building a V8 RX-7. The car is a first gen '81 GSL and the donor motor/tranny is out of a '94 Buick Road Master. Right now I'm reading over the newb sections and bolt ons for the LT1. I plan to keep the LT1 some what stock over the next couple of years untill I get the body, brakes and suspension sorted out on the RX-7. I estimate the weight of the car to be 2600-2700 lbs with me in it and going from a 100hp motor to about a 300hp motor should be fun. My goals for the car is to restore it and eventually install a STS remote turbo. I know the stock rear is good for 500hp with the 3.909 gear I'll just have to work on the motor and tranny before hand lol. Hope to post some pics eventually and I'm glad I found this site!!!!
