New from MI I'm Jentry, and I am from Mid-Michigan. I am 19, and general gear head. I grew up in a shop and now I am going to Kettering University and co-oping with GM. I found this site through another forum I am a member on, MI F-Body Association. Looking for another f-body at the moment to turn into my long term project car, mostly looking for early 4th gen T/A's to do an LSX transplant into, but I am not ruling out the newer ones or Camaros.
IMO, go with the 98-02 T-top TA for the looks and the easy suspension mods. You will have a rocket ship once you do the LSX conversion. I have two convertible TA's. But, I moved to Florida (from just south of the Motor City) 12 years ago. So, mine are mostly for show. Welcome to the forum! Oh yeah. Watch the parts classified religiously for great deals on suspension and LS parts. And, the best deals on F-body cars are in the Southern States like Florida and the Carolinas.
