im the new guy on the block Hey i just bought my ls1 recently i have a 2000 camaro ss automatic with 39,000 original miles on it, i used to be a more old school muscle car finatic but i just got out of the mood to be working on my car everyday messing with the carb and such. Im looking i guess for a good build to make the car run low 12s without doing too much to the motor other than headers. I would like to try and focus on making the gears 3:73 and improving the transmission if possible. So if anyone has some good advice to help me out i would appreciate it.
Welcome! Spend some time in the external engine section and I'm sure you'll learn enough about the mods needed to hit your goal. Off the top of my head, headers + catback + intake + gears + tune + stall will have you there pretty easily.
