Just picked up a LS1 Well, I just picked up a brand new crate LS1 dropping it in my 88 Monte. Planning on Carbed version deciding on transmission still. Anyways, just wanted to say Hello and thanks in advance for all the great knowledge on this sight =)

Congrats. Price/HP just doesn't compare to anything else. My friend is also doing the carb thing. I tried to convince him otherwise but he had a couple of valid points for doing so. good luck with the build.

The motor I bought is a Long block so to go the fuel injection route wouldn't be cost effective plus I honestly dont want to start playing with the wiring and getting into that headache.
