New to LS1Tech
What's up everyone, I'm new to LS1Tech but not to forums.
I've been a member on Zilvia.net since early 2010, and a member of Nicoclub since 2009. And I've been lurking those sites for years before then too. Lol
I drive a 93 Nissan 240SX, and it's a blast. I had a fully built 2.4L KA24DE that had forged 8.6:1 pistons, eagle rods, ARP everything, ACL race bearings, bored .020" over, rings were file fit for turbo, head was ported and polished etc.
I had it on a turbo setup with a FMIC, Holset H1C, 3" exhaust/downpipe, 550CC tomei injectors, Z32 maf, etc. It was fun. Made probably around 350WHP on low boost(12 psi)
Sorry for the big pictures.
Anyway, I got tired of the 4 cylinder, pulled it out, sold it for $1700, and the turbo kit for $500 (what a steal...the injectors were $500 alone..), and bought a 5.3L LM7. I would've got an L33, but budget didnt allow. So now I plan on using an LS1/LS6 intake manifold on my LM7, and getting a cam. I'm already in the process of porting my heads, and I got 2.02" manley intake vavles as well. Also got a double roller timing chain just for peace of mind.
So yeah, that's about it I guess. Glad to be a member here
Oh...almost forgot. Look at the SIZE difference of my 5.3 compared to my 2.4
(2.4 is on the right covered in plastic)
