Greetings I guess I forgot to do one of these when I first joined, so here goes. You can probably guess by my user name what I drive, and my intensions by simply being here 
. I'm currently stationed in Afghanistan and researching the exact route I'd like to take when I get to Tennessee next January. After seeing a few of my fellow forum members take the LSX plunge, I decided I would too...Leaky valve guide seals and too many horror stories about our boosted engines definately made the decision a lot easier. After lurking here for a while and reading every hotrod article I can get my hands on, I decided I'm going with a truck engine. I purchased a swap kit about 6 months ago and I'll be going with either a 4.8 or 5.3 with an MN12 if I can find one close enough. I have an uncut wiring harness that I picked up for less than $100 but I'm playing around with the idea of having one made. I'm looking forward to popping in throughout the next few months and starting a build thread once I get started.
