Noob, first gen camaro My name is Mike, i'm 26 and like many looking to swap a carbed sbc for something more modern and reliable. I have a 68 Camaro RS/SS (clone) that I drag race quite often now and am ready to go faster. I have an aluminum headed, hyd roller 385 in there now and with the 3.42's (total street car) I can't break a 12.6 @105 on DR's. I DD an 03 Silverado Z71 that has 109k on it and hasn't missed a beat so that got me thinking.
My roomate manages the local junkyard and I was thinking of picking up a low mileage 5.3 or LQ4 or 9 to build up slowly (with the intentions of forced induction) and put that in the car once my motor blows apart. Anyways, that's me and it's good to be here. Here is my collection of junk......
