98 z28 newb

hello all, my name is Rob. after much searching (not too many unmolested examples in the bay area) i found my blue 98 z28 with auto trans....... i wanted an m6 but the ball and chain wanted to be able to drive it too........... anywho, im from Oakland California, i am an automotive tech, but this is my first ls1 powered car so i look forward to learning as much as i can from this forum and possible contributing to it as well.

i woulda made her learn to drive stick. if she wants to drive it, she'll learn. where are you a tech at?

I cant imagine not buying the transmission i want because my other half wants a auto... Then again i'm not married haha, welcome.

i am an auto tech at a small independent shop, i got my certs at a mercedes dealership, and moved to a small european performance shop. Now i manage a small independent shop. i got the automatic thinking i was going to be sitting in traffic all the time, but hey, i might be upgrading to a ss with an m6 this summer anyway.
