I recently purchased a 1965 Pontiac Catalina as a project car and decided to put in an LS motor. I found this website and I am hoping to learn a lot and meet people with experience in what I plan to do. I just finished a Factory Five Cobra and had a lot of fun on the FFcars forum and met some great people. I am really looking forward to the build and will be a frequent visitor to this site. I would welcome any information from people with experience in this sort of build.

Gorgeous car man! I almost bought a '63 Catalina rag top to cruise with my buddy and his '63 Cat Safari Wagon, unfortunately it sold the day before I was going to go look at it... Electronics are hard for me to grasp, so I would personally go with an all Pontiac motor like a 428 or something like that, but I must say I've never seen an LS in a Catalina, so this should be an interesting build to watch. Also these new motors make great power and are very efficient, so I definitely see why you are going with one. Do you know what motor you plan on going with? Are you going carbureted or EFI? Good Luck!
