New guy from SoCal with 07 SS I just purchased a 1997 Camaro Z28 SS (#99)
The car has a bit under 29k miles on it. I bought it from a friend who's had it since 9000 miles (purchased in 99).
The pinion seal is leaking, but everything is original and works
I'm excited to be able to wrench on something again!

That's awesome, welcome to the forum. This site has a pretty good LT1 section. Might want to change the title though, haha. Go through and do fluids, check the hoses and belt for cracks or rotting and have a blast driving that thing.
