new to the site hi, my name is felix. im an active duty us navy mechanic. i recently purchased an rx8 with hopes of dropping in an ls1. i have the swap kit, but i need help finding an engine. i really wouldnt mind the l33 if finding a t56 complete wasnt so difficult, dont want to regret this,so any advice would be greatly appreciated. im stationed in virginia beach
sure. grab a 5.3 instead. throw in a cam. cheap set of heads. that car could be major fast for a low budget. later on you decide on a turbo...fine! the 5.3 can handle it no prob. thanks for your service to our country, and welcome to the site.

i hear that alot, the 5.3 is just as good, but its been a pain to find a decent price for just a t56. any idea of a good place to start looking for a trans??
