new guy with 69 nova My names Jeff. I picked up a 69 nova with a weak 307 in it a few weeks ago. And been on the hunt for ideas on what to do with the build. I want a pro street look, mini tubbed bagged and all. I'm picking up a 6.0 and 4l80e out of a GMC savanna work van this week. The guy who's parting it out said I can have whatever components off it I want. I'm still new to the swapping process. What exactly do I need to take, and what will actually work for me on the swap. Ill post up some picks of the car and engine later this week when I pick it up.

Welcome to the site Jeff, I'm doing the same to my 88 bird.
get all the accessories, complete harness and of course the engine....
some others to get you started:
ls swap oil pan to clear the crossmember and likelynew accessory brackets nova guys will know better...

Check out our conversions section for further info on swap accessories. I would offer advice, but I am not familiar with the swap process as I plan to stick with the old SBC for mine. However, we have other Nova guys here who could certainly be helpful.
