Newbie from across the foam! Hi all this is my first post on here , I am from the west of Ireland .
The main reason I have signed up is because of a up coming project I am doing for my friend . I am a bit of a BMW nut especially the older stuff, I have a e30 myself but its off the road until I get the money together to build my m50 turbo . I have done a good number of engine swaps on the e30 most of them euro s50 engines . I have always had an interest in the ls engine and fitting them into the e30 . Problem is we don't really get them second hand here because your road tax is worked out on the cc of your engine ,an newer models after 08 it's done on co2 emissions. So large capacity engines are quite rare . Anyway my friend has got the v8 bug and we are planning to build a e30 with a ls3 motor , there is a dealer in England now and we are thinking of the 525 hp ls3 and t6060 gear box . Any advise would be greatly appreciated and if any one needs any advise on bmw stuff I am more the happy to help
