New member saying hello. Hello, Just registered to the forums. Heard a lot of good comments about this site.
I will be lurking here for a bit gathering info on a GEN III or GEN IV swap for my 1985 Chevy C20 pickup. The original engine has 345k miles on it and is very tired. I want to ditch the 350 and th400 and go with a 5.3 and overdrive so it is better suited for highway use. Would love a 6.0 but I think the 5.3 will be more budget friendly. LOL.
I am a member at 67 72 trucks forum.
Have not looked around here much. So I am off to the swap areas for info.
