aussie 383 ls1 hey guys new on here and just posting up abit about my car. 2004 vy commodore ( which translates to 04 gto for most of you ) with a 383 stroked ls1 with cam, machined heads, whole valve train upgrade, all forged running 11.5:1 comp on pump 98, pace maker 4-1 headers, 100 cell cats and twin 3 inch, 4.1:1 gears with a true trac centre and harrop cover. good for 460 hp and 884 ft/lb and 12.7 with street tyres and me driving, so hopefully with a few upgrades at the tyres and suspension and probly the driver it should be good for 11's 
in the future i want an itb setup, bigger cam, 13:1 comp running on e85. then ill start spending money on making her pretty and get rid of the hideous rims that have pissed me off ever since i bought the car

it would be the g8 if it was a ve commodore ( 2007 onwards ) mine is a vy which was exported to you guys as the gto ( we had the same two door here as both the gto and a monaro, extremely slight differences between the two ) but the vy and the ve ( g8 ) are both commodores, just year models with improvements expected between any 03 - 07 family of cars
