New CT Memeber
New CT Memeber Well for starters I live in CT and drive a 2005 Pontiac GTO. Its my first manual car, previous cars were Honda accord, 1990 Mercedes SD 350 turbo diesel and an 08 dodge ram. I’m not one of the most knowledgeable people on cars but I’m learning. The gto set me on a path for a custom build. My current plans are to put a LS engine into an RX7. My muscle car buddies don’t like the car and my brother and his import friends don’t like the motor. Me, I see a light car that doesn’t look that bad backed by one seriously mean engine when done right. I’m probably going to ask some stupid questions on the way but everyone has to start somewhere. I plan on starting the build in the spring when i get out of night school and unfortunately sell the Goat. Just to clarify for those looking to shoot down the idea, i may not be a high performance mechanic but I’ve turn a wrench every so often and have access to help when i need it.
