Default Hello from Fort Hood

Hey gents and ladies,

I am a new guy here at LS1tech. Have read quite a bit as a guest, decided it was time to register. I recently picked up an LS1 and T56 from a GTO to swap into my 98 240SX. The rotating assembly needs a little love as the PO dropped a valve in one of the cylinders. I will be doing all the work myself. Lil' ole background. I am a 12 year veteran in the Army. I work as a mechanic for the most part. This is not my first Chevy engine. I had small block 5.7 in my first boat, and currently have a full roller 502 in my new boat. Love a Chevy V8. Looking forward to learning a lot!

Hey, thanks for the welcome. I am looking forward to getting this thing going, but I have a small hole(d) up right now.

He really did a number when he dropped that valve lol. Oh well, I will get her in tip top shape in no time.
