Looking to get an LS1 Just a little bit about me and my situation. I am in the army (have been for 9 yrs) currently in Afghanistan. I am looking to be home around June. I am a previous owner of an 04 Mustang GT and was looking at getting back in a Mustang when I returned. I have been cruising forums and the internet for a while looking at cars when I thought I should check out ls1. Wow am I impressed with the numbers these cars get and what I may be able to buy one for compared to a Mustang.
I know very little about the Ls1 engine in general. So I am looking forward to leaning. Also come May/June I will be in the market for a 98 and above Ls1 car. If anyone is considering selling around that time let me know.
Speaking of which what money should I be looking to spend on a decent 98 and above z28.

First off dude let me tell you how much i appreciate what you do for our country. Second last week bought my second fbody 02 z m6 for 7000 76,000 miles there out the just gotta search. And third dont go stang unless you plann ta go 03-04 cobra w blower just dont make great power. You can get a light bolt on ls1 in the 12s easy cam only in the low 12 high 11s cant go wrong brotha.
