Default new guy intro

Hello to all. I am Angel16 and this is my introduction post. I'd like to say thanks for accepting me to the forum. A little about me now: I'm a 23 year old college Army ROTC cadet(yeah, I know. I'm an idiot basically) out of chattanooga tennessee. I'm looking forward to my first project car which I will be starting on in a few months. The car is still up in the air but the engine will be an ls6. Just hoping to find out all that I can before I begin so things can be pretty painless and efficient. But thanks for the acceptance and I look forward to the information and knowledge gained.

I guess I should add that the two car options are a 82 Monte Carlo with a 231 v6 and th350 trans OR a (my personal favorite car EVER) 87 Buick grand national. Don't know top much on this particular grand national. I'm still trying to get the guy to sell it. He's budging but the wife is stubborn. It's about a 90% chance they'll end up selling it. I'm quite persuasive.

Grand Nationals are expensive, I saw one for sell out here for $55,000 but it had like 500hp at the wheels. How about a mid 80's Olds 442? I had the 1986 with the 5.0 (307 h/o) motor. I see them at car shows still! I also see them on Ebay for cheap, they were not fast cars but a LS6 would wake the damm thing up. I've even seen mid 80's Hurst Olds, now that would be a car to put that LS6 into, restore it and that would be worth something

welcome in and man you cant go wrong with buicks gn or ttypes had alot of them and for stock cars they are bad little cars.And ride like a caddyyy
