New Guy From Memphis TN Hi my names Houston. I live in Memphis TN. Been poking around here for couple months now just never took the time to register. So much info you can find without much work, but I suppose that's what forums are for. I am 21. I manage my grandfathers hardwood flooring business and work for my fathers restoration and body shop. He has a lot of nice cars come through. As of now we are restoring 2 68 camaros (true Z28s), one with 383 stroker and one with a 454, a 70 chevelle with 454, a 54 chevy pickup, a 70?71? nova, and a 70? el camino with a 454(true ss). Ill see about getting some pictures up. I also start in June at the Memphis Fire Academy.
My car ownership history is way too long for my age lol. Ive had 2 camaros(97 z28 and 85? with I4 lol), 93 rx7 TT, 87 supra, 90 & 95 240sx, 05 & 07 cobalt ss/sc, 71 camaro, 95 eclipse, 03 350z. Basically anything Ive found that I thought I could make some money on.
As of right now, I'm currently looking for a 98-02 camaro/firebird(preferably firebird). With a v6 auto. Ive got an ls1 auto ready to drop into something and with some of the things I'm wanting to do with the car, for me its just not feasible to pay $6k for even just a decent running ls1 f-body.
