I think our biggest issue with gas is the additives (including alcohol) that have been mandated in supposedly to make it lower emissions. It is destructive to the fuel system on older vehicles. Some areas don’t have better than 91 octane.
Our gas is around 85, and making octane higher depends on how many additives will be added.
After taking out the gas tank from the car that stopped and didn't move for a year or year and a half i found terrible liquid inside, it wasn't gas, something like water with additives, that where near the bottom looking like medusas, don't know how to say it in English
and the smell - no smell of gas, just chemistry smell, so i wonder how the engine was working
