new member intro hello! new member as of 3/28/13. i just took possesion of 1998 z28.
it was my dad's originally, but he passed away in februrary. so i decided to see if i could hang on to it for awhile. he did a lot of work done on it.
it's got over 241k miles on it, but its current motor is an LS6. relatively stock with the addition of a lingenfelter throttle body, k&n induction system ( ram-air hood ), long tube headers flowing into a 4" flowmaster exhaust. lot of suspension work ( all hotchkis ), 6-point roll bar ( it ran nitrous for short while,
got down to an 11.92et @ 118mph ), w/o nitrous, about 12.25et, locker rear end. that's all i know about for now. i've got a stack of receipts since the car was new to go through. for now, i've a few small issues to address,
( i.e. tightening up the front suspension, possible u-joint/drive-shaft noises
to figure out ). otherwise, just have fun & enjoying the memories of my dad.
