Hi there from the bottom of the world.
Hi there guys and gals. Just joined up to LS1Tech officially, as I have been lurking around since I purchased my Pontiac Star Chief in 2012, and thought I would make it official.
I live in Auckland New Zealand, and after selling my much loved 1956 Chev BelAir, 350 powered of course, I imported from Georgia US my 1957 Star Chief. It is powered by a 5.3 Vortec with a 4l60E trans. and I have had to do a fair amount of work on it to get it complied with local regulations.
It turned up with no wipers, horns, working speedo (previous owner didn't want to fork out for a Cable-X obviously), engine mounts and steering shaft that locals wouldn't accept. along with a host of other little issues that I am working my way through.
I am looking forward to keeping up with the LS community through this forum.
