new to ls1 tech names joe. recently picked up a 1996 red z28 6 speed Camaro few months back. motor tranny and rear end with 4.10 gears have 28,000 confirmed miles body is around 130k still very clean. had a few questions.
I know shes running a tad rich. fine when
i'm cruising around town but once I open it up dumbs black smoke. It does have a 160 degree thermostat and I know if its not tuned properly it'll leave the choke open does idle a bit rough once warmed up. no loss of power tho. wondering how much a tune would run if this is the issue? this last tank I averaged around 14 mpgs city driving did open it up for often then I normally do on the streets. Also how well does this chevron with techron fuel system cleaner work? I've been hearing a lot of positive things on about it.
