Going LS finally
Going LS finally I have a 1963 Ford Falcon that had a 289 and a Vortech on it with foxbody FI that I wired up and tuned myself. Never broke anything with a bad tune, but it was to the point where it needed a new shortblock to make more power, but funds were not available for that. I have been reading and seeing all the crazy JY 5.3 turbo numbers, so I chose that path. I have sold all my Ford parts. I had 3 trannys, 2 motors, a vortech setup, and lots of little stuff to fund this.
The plan is 5.3, 70ish mm turbo, th400 trans and a stall. Tune it with microsquirt and go make crazy numbers at the dyno.

Welcome, LS power is a never ending fever and I'm glad to have it. Nice to see another old school car receive an LS swap, i too am Swapping to LS in my 67 Bird after all the fun i had with my 91 T/A L33 5.3 / MN12 6 speed combo. Good luck!
