newbie Hey guys,
Just figured i give a intro to everybody, I just got a 93 pontiac formula bone stock with 69K, yes thats right 69K original motor and trans. got rid of my jap burner which was a 95 eclipse gsx to get a lt1. Im lucky to find the car and have fmaily member that already have cars like this my cousin has a 94 trans am, while his brother has a 81 corvette. I am also lucky to have some money to play with to do some upgrades to the car, the car is coming with a full exhaust system with pacesetter long tube headers, off road y pipe and slp loudmouth exhaust as well as a touque arm.
I want to turn the car into a nasty street car, but for the time being until i get use to the car and everything about it. But i want to take it to crusiers weekend down in ocean city md in october with my family and want to have a good base to work from.
So with all that being said im thinking about after talking to my cousins to do these upgrade, yank 3600 stall, trans cooler shift kit, deeper oil pan, air filter and air intake, and install the exhaust that was mentioned.
what do you guys think??
would a under drive pulley be helpful with these upgrades,
also what do you guys think about changing the stock bumpers to black t/a bumpers i really like the look of them rather then the formula bumpers that are on there right now, also the car comes with a ws6 hood and rear hatch. Im not trying to misrepresent the car just want it to look nice and be a nice street beast, also upgrade to z06 rims i think off of the c5 if that is correct.
