Import with american muscle hey guys,
im pretty new to v8s and american muscle
. I have a 93 Mazda Rx7 that i will be swapping in a LS1 with t56 into. so far i have collect these items for my swap:
01 fbody LS1 longblock minus intake manifold with 78k miles ($760)
complete running 01 z28 A4 with 91k miles ($2k)
complete hinson subframe kit ($950)
tt supra fuel pump ($60)
pro 5.0 shifter (free)
ls1 flywheel (free)
thats all ive got right now. i still need to source a t56 and all the small swap parts . i would love to hear from anyone that has already done this swap.

oohhh FD RX7's are sexy! A V8 swap in one is a great idea. I don't know what kinda build you're going for, but you would have a sweet drift machine if u built the suspension right. I've seen v8's in the FC rx7's but not in the fd's. Here's a site that will have a lot of suspension, and other parts for the rx7, but it doesn't look like they have motor mounts or a conversion to v8 kit... http://www.enjukuracing.com/categori...azda-RX7-FD3S/
