Pontiac firebird Hi I'm a new member that needs help!
I have a 1997 Pontiac Firebird California speedway inaugural edition June 22nd 1997. I need help finding the proper stats about this special edition. I've read from another site that there were only 20 made that did the first inaugural lap. please help!

This Trans-Am is finished in JET BLACK paint, and yes, it looks NICE ! A few scratches & nicks, but no major damage. There were 2,827 WS6's produced in 1997, and only 20 were designated California Raceway Pace Cars. When California Raceway opened up on June 22nd 1997, this car and 19 others were used in the Inaugural 1st lap!
I have personally owned this car for the last 71/2 years. Nothing has been done to the engine, and this car still doesn't use a drop of oil? I had the transmission rebuilt about 30,000 miles ago, and has always shifted good when cold, but shifts pretty hard when warmed up. Maybe a bad servo? Check engine light has been on for the past 5 years (transmission code).
These WS6's have a 5.7 LT-1 V8 that puts out 305 H.P. Car has original WS6 wheels, 17" alloys with 275/40ZR17 tires. 1 tire is almost new, the other 3 are in poor shape. All electrical equipment works good, including the Air Conditioning. CD player sometimes will not eject CD?
That should get your attention! I am not going to waste anymore words to describe this car. All you serious "WS6" BUYERS out there, already know how hard it is to find these cars, not to mention this Limited Edition California Speedway Edition .................., so just sit back and check out the pictures of this automobile !!!
