Default 4th Gen Project

Hello everyone! Im new to the site, but have been viewing forums and advice on this page for a while now.

I have a new discussion, although im also gonna beat a dead horse. My wife uncle recently aquired a 2000 t/a. Its has stock heads, a mild cam and nitrous. My father-in-law and i are wanting to build an fbody ls1 to dominate the t/a. We thought just a build with bolt-ons and a mild cam. But i was curious an lq9 swap with ls3 parts or a possible turn towards a 408 stroker. We are gonna find a blown up ls1 donor so we have the wire harness that we'll need.

My fear is with with the monstrous power the ls1 has in the upper rpm's, our lq9 may eat it up out of the gate but the lighter ls1 may get us at the end. Any advice?
