Junkyard newbie
Junkyard newbie Hey everyone,
Just signed up for the site. I've been trolling around here for a few months looking for ideas on what I need to do. I figured it would be easier just to sign up and ask. I am currently building a budget LQ4 street/strip car. I found the motor in the junkyard a week or two ago and have been taking it apart and seeing what i've been needing. I know some of the basics like getting the L92 heads and upgrading the cam, but this will be my first GM motor project so I'm really kinda lost after a certain point. I've built a few ford mod motors but thats really it.
Ultimately I'd like to get the motor on a 300-400 shot so I know i'll have to upgrade the connecting rods and pistons but I really dont know the hp limit for any of the other rotating parts or the th400 im planning on putting in it.
