Newbie looking for help I have a 65 Chevelle wagon (A-Body) that is running a 283 SB.
I just bought a 1999 LQ4/4L60E combo to drop in. Any suggestions to make this swap easier? I've been told I need to buy new mounts, oil pan and a suggestion was to buy a complete "Painless" wiring harness rather than deal with all the old wiring.
Has anyone done a similar swap? Any tips or suggestions? I am new to the LS1Tech site, but hope learn & give feedback during this project.
