New From So Cal, LA area
My first vehicle with an LS based motor made me a believer.
2004 Yukon Denali AWD LQ4 9'' lift with 35'' sneakers.
10 years old and the nicest car I have owned, nice power with lift and tires, handles better than many cars far smaller, just amazing.
So then I picked up my glory days hot rod, a 72 RS Camaro, with no motor or trans...just the way I like then. I have many parts left over from years in a car hobby and drag racing at LACR(now long closed) 12 bolt rear diff,2 8.5'' rear diffs, seats, wiring harness of all things, 400 sbc, my race motor a 350 with 13/1 cr...ect,ect..but I'm kinda thinkin 6.0L with a manual tranny.
after my daughter's 90 Tracker 4x4, and wifes 63 conv. Nova, but before my 1942 chevy G506 WW2 truck......with 53'' michelins (evil laugh here) haha
So I'll take the time to learn the best route for the 72 getting the 6.0L set up, (stoking it with a turbo....I wish) and what to look for and lookout for.
Great site, with a lot more smarted people than me, that's why I joined.
