Ex Rotorhead coming to the darkside Hello to all, I am former RX-7 junkie and current BMW enthusiast who is now entering the LS world. I have an L76/6L80e combination (from an 08 Pontiac GT) that I was planning to install into an E38 7 series, but now I may be installing just the L76 into an 87 FC Rx-7, with a T56 magnum instead. It looks like their is a lot of information for the FC swap, but I look forward to learning a lot from all of you in the meantime.
Welcome, there are certainly a good variety of cars getting transplants in here. As well as plenty of info!
I have owned a few rotaries myself one a 84 RX-7 GSL, and also an 06 RX-8. Rotaries are always always awesome to me, but you can't beat the cost per HP an LS can offer you. A friend of mine recently sold a LS1 swapped 10th Anniversary edition RX-7. I am currently swapping a 240SX.
